Does Anchor Protect change my address for me?
No. You complete each change directly with the organisation. Anchor Protect works out what's likely to apply to your move, shows you where to go, and keeps a record of what's still left.
How is this different from a free moving checklist?
Most checklists give every mover the same list. Anchor Protect uses your answers to build a plan around your move, helps you prioritise it, and tracks your progress in one place.
Which organisations can it help me remember?
Your checklist may include organisations like the DVLA, HMRC, your council, banks, insurers, your GP, energy and broadband suppliers, and the electoral roll. What appears depends on your answers and your specific move.
When should I start?
You can start before moving day, or use Anchor Protect afterwards to check what might still be outstanding. Starting early gives you more time to work through things in order.
What does £14.99 include?
£14.99 is a one-off payment, not a subscription. It gives you full access to your personalised plan and tracker for 12 months from signup, including any new features we add during that time.
What information do I need to provide?
To build your plan we ask for your move date, whether you're renting or buying, your current and new address, your household details, and the types of accounts you hold (banking, utilities, insurance, and similar). We only use this to build and track your personalised checklist.
How do you use my information?
We use your information to build your personalised checklist and track your progress. We don't sell your data. Trusted service providers process data only as needed to run Anchor Protect on our behalf.
What is the £1,000 DVLA fine about?
Failing to update your address on your driving licence is a legal requirement in the UK and carries a fine of up to £1,000. It's one of many obligations most people forget when moving house.
Is Anchor Protect regulated by the FCA?
Anchor Protect helps you track and manage your address changes when you move. We're not a financial advisory or credit reference service, so FCA regulation doesn't apply to what we do.
